What We Do

We attempt to work at an ethical rate and feel strongly that professionals in child protection should not be making excessive amounts of money in or daily work in child protection. The daily rate depends on several factors such as geographical distance, size of the group, whether it is an existing training package or a specialist commission.

Training

We also provide training in the following areas:

  • Working with challenging and hostile service-users
  • Developing skills in section 47 investigations
  • Child Protection (Essential & Advanced)
  • Working with Men / Fathers
  • Supervision in Child Protection
  • Mentoring and Coaching in Child protection
  • Contact work and dealing with conflict
  • Supporting foster carers with challenging young people

Fees

I am now an ethical trainer and work by the hour - my charge is calculated around the living wage, at the £10.00 an hour.

I have taken the decision to no longer work for statutory organisations. I will work a maximum of 100 days a year.

Commissions and workshops are based  on my  views, impressions and legitimacy of an organisation. I am happy to work with large or small groups.

Call me and we can negotiate. Remember you should calculate transport costs, the cost of actors, hiring the buildings etc. I work with large or small groups. There is no maximum. For example, if you go for the purest form of active learning this will be 12 delegates. You will need to pay for actors (£50 a day) and you will need to hire a room. Please phone to discuss. If you are a statutory university or council I no longer work for these organisations. Please read articles to understand the logic !!!!
